Partner and Co-Founder Ole Kristian Aabø-Evensen
Ole Kristian is one of the founders of Aabø-Evensen and has dedicated more than 25 years of his career to M&A and transactional work.
In 2011, Universitetsforlaget published the first Norwegian textbook on mergers and acquisitions, Acquisitions of Companies and Businesses, authored by Ole Kristian. He also contributes the Norwegian chapter to several leading international M&A publications each year, including the Thomson Reuters Private and Public M&A Guides.
Ole Kristian is consistently recognised by leading international legal directories, including Legal 500, Chambers and IFLR1000. Over the past 14 years, he has been ranked among Norway’s top three M&A lawyers by Finansavisen. In 2012, 2013, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2021, he was ranked as Norway’s leading lawyer in mergers and acquisitions.
Many of the firm’s most prominent M&A transactions for European and international private equity funds and organisations have been led by Ole Kristian.
